Esarhaddon:To Oman, comrades! It's not far away!
Asshur: I'm tired!

To be short, thats why  I drew it. My consequence of thought that guided me to decision where to put sumerian Meluhha was quite long and lasted 40 pages.

So I found out that Meluhha most probably was the civilization that belonged to creators of Naqada II cultures therefore possibly Nubian by origin- in sumerian times.

Assyrians obviously called Kush Meluhha in their annals. They used word Makan often along with Meluhha. (to Makan and Meluhha I  forced my troops or how did it go..) Therefore it seemed to be nearby. Or at least on the way. Or this lands shouldve been somehow affiliated.
In times of Naram Suen the Sea of Magan was mentioned but I couldnt figure out where it was although I tried hard. There are many possibilities...

So many people think that Magan was in Oman although Here arent signs of its affilation with Kush. Although we see that Meluhha of Sumerians and Assyrians was the same.

Oman never belonjged to the Egyptian pr Kushites. And wasnt connected to them much in any other way - trade etc. But in assyrian texts Egypt wasnt called Magan but Muzur so magan was probably something else I suppose...

Oman's ancient civilizations due to similar trade system, seals etc could be part of Dilmun without a special name given to it sy the sumerians.

I accept critics- if I missed something- correct a poor confused galam-huru...

Dont worry i dig into sumerian texts just for fun- it's my hobby- nothing serious... Just its so interesting what our ancestors and their contemporaries did and how they thought!!

Maybe if i have time ill reinvestigate magan and meluhha- to find out if I made analytical errors when I did it back then...
